Chicago Comic Convention is Coming!
Heya all! So the Great Allentown Comic con came and went with with out a hitch. It was a fun and great show. It was held at this nifty mall that was a little like a flee market. There was sooooo many cool things to look at (After i was done drawing a ton commissions) I even saw a real Script from the origenal Thundcats cartoon. I got to draw Liara and Tali from Mass Effect, A Sackboy from Little Big Planet, and Bear Jew from Inglorious Basterd just to name a few. While there I ran into Dave Rankin of Effigy Skateboards. Dave is a great guy with a ton of passion for his art and skateboarding. I suggest you check out his site www.effigyskateboards.com. For those of you who are skaters his decks are wicked. Also at Allentown I got to meet up with Louis Small Jr for the first time in a long time. It's been almost a year since I last saw him at New York Comic Con. He made a fantastic suggestion of getting into Sketch cards, I'm looking into it and its seems like a lot of fun.
Now to the Meat and Potatoes (yum) The HUGE 4 day Chicago Comic Convention is coming and coming fast. August 11th through the 14th. I, of course, will be there with Hound Comics. I should have 4 prints ready to go for the con, one of which is right below. A Catwoman, A Poison Ivy piece, Sakura from Street Fighter and one is a secret. Also Hound Comics will be selling a book with all the hound artist sketches in it. I believe it is a Chicago exclusive. For more information on the the Sketchbook check out HoundComics.com. I'll hopefully update again before Chicago with a better preview of my prints. Till them HERES SAKURA!
